SAR Thousand Islands Chapter

Sons of the American Revolution

Our region contains many graves of Revolutionary War Patriots and many of their descendants are alive today.  Our job is to bring men into membership through help with genealogical proofs.

Color guards, educational programs for schools, and community awareness of our founding fathers is a part of our works.  Local schools and Boy Scouts benefit from our citizenship awards.

Operation Ancestor Search (OAS) is a genealogy support program for wounded warriors.  The Chapter provides free services to 38 soldiers in the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Drum.
